Rainfall amounts from earlier storms were one to two inches, and these next storms will produce an additional inch. Existing flood problems will continue or possibly worsen. Road closures due to high water, and washouts on back country roads are likely. Some locations that will experience flooding include… Chester, Woodstock, Rutland, Hartland Four Corners, Cavendish, Ludlow Village, Rutland City, Perkinsville Village, Middletown Springs, Wallingford, Mt. Holly, Mt. Tabor, Rutland – Southern Vermont Airport, Poultney, Plymouth, Clarendon, Ira, Wells, Windsor and Pawlet. Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads.
