…AN AREA OF HEAVY SNOW WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN NEW YORK AND NORTHERN VERMONT… At 927 AM EST, an area of heavy snow was located along a line extending from 12 miles north of Highgate to South Alburgh to near Dannemora. Movement was east at 55 mph. Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this area of heavy snow.
