…A POTENTIALLY STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN ESSEX…CENTRAL CHITTENDEN AND NORTHWESTERN WASHINGTON COUNTIES… At 641 PM EDT, a developing thunderstorm was located near Port Kent, New York moving east at 25 mph. This storm may continue to intensity and become strong. Winds of 30 to 40 mph along with lightning are possible with this storm.
