…Strong and Gusty Winds to Develop Along Lake Champlain Tonight… Departing high pressure this evening and an approaching cold front will yield an increasingly strong pressure gradient across the North Country tonight. Southerly winds are expected to increase to 15 to 25 mph through the late evening with winds increasing further to 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph after midnight.
